WHERE WE DISCUSS THE NATURE OF THE UNIVERSE
Are you there?
Yes, we are here.
I want to do something a little different with this post.
What did you have in mind?
Well, as you know, I keep a file of ideas that occur to me from time to time. These may be topics for future discussions with you or just a single quote that I find interesting. These ideas may come from my own mind or from all of you or even sometimes from an outside source. It doesn’t matter. Anything I think I might want to include in a posting I add to this file.
Yes, we are aware of this file. It contains many of the topics that we will eventually discuss.
I was going through this file recently and I came across a small quote that at first I almost didn’t recognize. I wasn’t even sure if it came from you or some other source. The quote contained an idea that I had not heard anyone else express before, at least not in quite the same way, and I think that is why I wrote it down and kept it in my file.
We know the quote you are referring to. Will you share it with our readers?
Yes, of course. Here is the quote: ”All living things, not just the 7 billion human persons who currently inhabit planet earth, but all living things – animals, birds, fish, insects, rocks, trees, water, the wind – yes, even the wind, are all moving in the same direction, seeking to experience their true self through the physical experience. While we realize that it is difficult for you as a human person to fully imagine what it must be like for the wind to seek out its own divinity, it is happening nonetheless.” That does sound like you, doesn’t it?
Indeed it does. And we did say this to you on a previous occasion. Do you have a question about this quote or is there something that you would like to add?
I have a number of thoughts about this quote. My first thought is that it seems to imply, well, more than imply, it actually states, that all living things on the physical plane, not just humans, are guided by a single overarching principle and that is to seek out their true selves. And that all living things, while maintaining their individual characteristics, are a part of a larger whole, all working together to achieve the same goal. And it is this common intention that defines the physical plane as an environment designed for growth and expansion.
Everything that you have just said is true.
I would also like to point out your mention of the wind in this quote, where you say that even the wind seeks out its own divinity. You are right when you say that it is a challenge for the human mind to grasp this kind of concept. And yet, there is something very intriguing about that idea. That the wind operates with intention. That the wind, or rocks, or water, or anything else that we humans would normally see as inanimate or lacking a life force, that they are as much a part of the collective consciousness as we humans are.
Everything around you, everything that you are experiencing on the physical plane, everyone and everything that you come in contact with, operates as part of the whole, operates as Oneness. And that Oneness is Source. Do you see? All of it is Creation. Nothing is separate, even though life on the physical plane, with its natural physical boundaries, would seem to belie this fact. But we assure you, nothing and no one is separate from anyone or anything else. To put it another way, you are the wind and the wind is you. The only difference is the form. Given this, it logically follows that all Creation operates with the same intention, the intention set forth by Source, which is to grow and expand.
It would also follow then, would it not, that if everything operates in tandem and no separation exists, that form is simply an illusion.
Form is indeed an illusion. Form is a characteristic, one might even say an essential characteristic, of the physical plane. Without form, the physical plane could not exist. The two ideas are practically synonymous.
But if form is an illusion, then each part of the whole – humans, animals, rocks, everything – must be comprised of something else. Of energy, of vibration.
To use a human expression, you have hit the nail on the head. Everything is energy. Everything in the Universe operates and communicates and functions through energetic vibration. That is the essence of the Universe.
Why is form necessary then? Can’t we grow and expand without the need to inhabit a form?
Yes, of course. Growth and expansion can occur under a variety of circumstances within the Universe. But with the illusion of form comes the illusion of separation, and that makes form an ideal tool for remembering who you really are and why you have really come.
Could you explain that?
As we have said previously, you have come to the Earth plane to experience what you are and what you are not. The idea of form, which in turn creates a belief in separation, is all a part of that design. By assuming a form, you allow your true essence to take on an identity that is in direct opposition to who you really are. It is all a part of the metaphysical amnesia you undergo when you incarnate on the physical plane. What better way to grow and expand than to work and strive to fully realize that you are NOT a human form, that you are not separate, but that you and everything else in existence are actually a part of the glorious, loving light of Source. Does this make sense to you? Can you see how all of the pieces fit together?
Well, I’m not sure I can see how all of the pieces fit together. If I could do that, I’d probably have no reason to still be here.
You make an excellent point.
But I can see what you are saying. It really is all about Oneness, isn’t it? That everything in the Universe is moving together as a whole towards a common goal – continued growth and expansion.
Exactly.
This has been a very illuminating conversation. I think we’ll stop there.
As you wish. As always, it has been our pleasure.
Thank you all.
