WHERE WE DISCUSS THE ART OF STAYING CONNECTED

Are you there?

Yes, we are here.

I’d like to talk today about the challenges of staying connected to the energy of Source once you feel you have made that connection. Lately, I have gotten to a point where I’m aware of the difference between when I am connected and when I am not. What I am still struggling with now is getting myself re-connected once I lose the connection, if that’s the right way to describe it.

Where would you like to start? Perhaps with a recap of some of the ways you can open your channel and stay connected that we have discussed in our previous conversations.

Yes, thank you. That would be great.

So, let’s review. To start with, all beings in the Universe are connected to Source energy. They cannot be otherwise. That includes all human persons, although we realize that from your perspective, this does always seem to be the case. Nonetheless, it is true, whether you feel it or not. This connection is eternal, one that cannot be broken or eliminated. It is constant, always and forever. Even when you choose to leave your physical form, your connection to Source continues. It is only the connection to your physical form that ceases.

Understood. Could you say a little more about the nature of our channel to Source?

While your channel to Source is a constant that cannot be broken, the energy that you receive through that channel can fluctuate depending on how much you allow yourself to be influenced by the fear-based thought forms generated by the ego. We have described the channel before in this way, that it is similar to a tube of light linking Source to your physical form through portals commonly known as chakras which serve as entry points for the light of Source. This tube is flexible, malleable, and can open wide or become pinched off based on your emotional state.

In other words, fear can squeeze the tube almost shut while…

…while love allows it to open. It really is as simple as that. And when you consider this idea, it could not make more sense. Love is what you are made of. It is the power behind everything that exists, everything that is created, everything that you are and that we are. Love. So, it only makes sense that it is love, in any form or degree, that opens and maintains your connection to Source. The reason that it is so important for all human persons to feel their connection to Source – and we stress this word “feel,” for as we have said, the connection is there whether you feel it or not – is because the whole purpose of the human journey is to feel this connection while incarnated within a highly dense physical form. That is why you have come. Love is who you really are and feeling that love and sharing it with others from within the human form is why you have come. It could not be more straightforward.

How then do we as humans open this tube, this channel that you describe and not only allow ourselves to feel the love of Source, but also maintain that feeling, regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in?

Over the course of our conversations, we have discussed many ways in which an incarnated being can more fully experience their connection to Source. Why not take this opportunity and outline some of these ways for our readers.

Actually, I was thinking all of you could do that.

It is not necessary for you to rely on us for this. You are as aware of how to open and maintain your connection to Source as we are. Besides, it will be good practice for you. We will help you. And do not worry. This is not a test and you will not be graded on your performance.

Very funny. All right, then. I’ll give it a shot. It might be easier for me if I put these ideas in the form of a list.

As you wish.

So, to practice the art of staying connected to Source energy:

  1. Stay present. Focusing on the breath is an excellent way to bring your awareness to the present moment. By remaining focused on the present moment, you facilitate the streaming of Source energy and help to keep your channel open.
  2. Make feeling good your primary intention every day. Feeling good is the clearest sign that you are channeling the energy of Source. Even the smallest moment can hold within it the opportunity to connect.
  3. Gratitude and appreciation are vibrationally very close to the energy of Source, so look for things in your daily life that you can appreciate, including yourself.
  4. Stay in touch with your dreams and desires. We are creators, after all, so use your imagination to manifest experiences, relationships, even objects that bring you pleasure and joy.
  5. Meditation. The practice of meditation is the best way to reduce the chatter of the mind. This fear-based ego chatter acts to block the stream of Source energy. Meditation quiets the chatter and helps to open your channel to Source.
  6. Affirmations. Choose thoughts that make you feel good and that remind you of who you really are and why you have come. Start with something like this: “I am a spiritual being of light and love. I have come to share that light and love with others.”
  7. Take advantage of all of the wonderful blogs, books and guided meditation tapes and videos that are available. They can provide great support, especially during those times when you feel lost or confused. Some of the people I follow include Abraham-Hicks, Eckhart Tolle, Melanie Beckler, Byron Katie, Neale Donald Walsch, Rasha, Julia Cameron, Marianne Williamson, Debbie Ford and Louise Hay.
  8. Find something creative to do. Draw something. Write something. Build a birdhouse. Nothing summons Source energy quicker than a creative project.
  9. Release, release, release. Let go as best you can all of the fear, worry and anxiety that has built up within your system. This kind of low-vibrational emotion only serves to block the free flow of loving Source energy.
  10.  And finally, love what arises. Every situation, regardless of the circumstances, is an opportunity to channel love. So, open your heart. Love the ups and downs, the highs and the lows, and everything in between. Treat yourself. Be kind to yourself. And above all, love yourself.

Nicely done. You have provided our readers with a very helpful list of ways to open and maintain their channel to Source.

That does seem like a pretty good list, doesn’t it, although I’m sure we could always find more ways to channel the energy of love. Is there anything else that you would like to add?

Just this. It is up to each of you to find your own way to get open and stay connected. That is a large part of your work, why you have come. Everyone is here, within the variety of experience that the earth plane has to offer, to find their own individual and unique ways of staying connected with the energy that created them. So, use this list as a jumping off point for your own ideas. And remember: opening to Source and maintaining that open connection is all a matter of practice. Be patient with yourselves and allow the process of remembering to unfold.

That all sounds like good advice. I think we’ll stop there for today.

Until next time then.

Thank you all.
