Today I would like to talk about desire. Creative desire.

We would be happy to discuss this topic with you. As you know, desire is the force behind all that manifests on the physical plane. We would go so far as to say that desire is the force that powers the Universe.

That’s a pretty bold statement.

Bold, perhaps, but true nonetheless. Desire for experiences that lead to growth and expansion is the primary force behind everything that happens in the Universe. It is the impetus behind all creation. It is this same desire for growth and expansion that led to the creation of the Earth plane. By creating the physical plane, Source energy manifested an environment that provides an infinite variety of opportunities for exploration and experimentation, all of which are designed to provide Source, and that includes you, with the chance to experience itself in physical form.

We have been over some of these ideas before, but I’m still not sure I understand fully what you are saying.

This information can be quite challenging for the human mind to comprehend, but that is what your work on the physical plane is all about. To remember who you really are and why you have incarnated. That is why you will hear us repeat the same information again and again in different ways until you are able to fully absorb it.

Yes, of course.

The growth and expansion that we speak of arises out of the decisions that you make on the physical plane. By incarnating in an environment in which you agree to forget who you really are, you are compelled, in a sense, to look for yourself, to CHOOSE yourself, over and over and over again in every moment. That is how growth occurs.

Why, then, the need for the physical plane? Isn’t this something that could be accomplished in non-physical?

On the non-physical plane, there is only absolute LOVE. That is all that there is. The physical plane was created in order to provide a RELATIVE rather than an ABSOLUTE environment, one in which Source could encounter choices that do not exist on the non-physical plane. Within this created environment, Source, meaning all living beings in the Universe including yourself and all other incarnated human persons, has the opportunity to experience what it IS as well as what it is NOT. This arrangement allows for you to experience EVERYTHING, from love to fear, from joy to hate, from sublime bliss to utter despair. This entire range of experiences is here for you to sample. By making choices from among this wide spectrum of elements, you are able to remember who you really are, which is turn leads to growth and expansion.

Could you explain how the choices we make lead to remembering who we really are?

It is all about vibration. Each experience that you create, each choice that you make, holds a particular vibration. Some of these choices will feel good to you and some of them will feel bad. It really is as simple as that. The choices that feel good to you feel that way because they resonate at the same frequency at which your inner self vibrates. In that sense, they reflect back to you who you really are. Conversely, those choices that feel bad to you feel that way because they do NOT resonate at the same frequency at which your inner self vibrates. While these choices do not reflect back to you who you really are, they do something just as important, and that is reflect back to you what you are NOT. That is what we mean when we say that you are always looking for yourself. You seek on the physical plane those experiences that embody your best self, your highest self, your true self. Experiences of LOVE. The way you know that you are making the choice that best serves you is by the way you feel.

This desire that fuels the Universe and helps create all that is manifested within it, is this the same desire that we humans tap into when we want to manifest something on the physical plane?

Yes, indeed. The energy of this desire is the same throughout the entire Universe. This is the energy of Source, of which we are all a part. When you use this energy on the physical plane to manifest what you desire, you are, in effect, bringing Source into the physical plane. By creating something that feels good to you, by interacting with others who make you happy and joyful, by choosing experiences that bring you satisfaction, you expand the reach of Source and facilitate its growth by bringing its energy to a place it has never been before.

Is the process of manifestation on the non-physical plane the same as it is on the physical plane?

On the non-physical plane, desire leads immediately to manifestation. There is no time in non-physical, therefor there is no gap between the arising of desire and the manifestation of that desire. On the Earth plane, that is not a practical model. Can you imagine what life on the physical plane would look like if every human person could manifest their heart’s desire instantaneously?

It would be chaos!

Exactly. The element of time and the higher density of the physical plane allows for a gap between desire and manifestation. This gap allows all incarnated beings the opportunity to question their choices, sample other choices, build momentum around their choices, fully commit to their choices, and so forth. With free will in play, you can do whatever feels right to you in the moment regarding all of your choices. Do you see?

I think so. The gap is sort of a safety valve that allows us to really examine what we want.

That is a good way of putting it.

I just wish we were more conscious of the choices we are making and how we are making them. It all seems so complicated.

That is what this work is about. That is what this blog is about. To help you become conscious of what is really going on and to you help you wake up to who you really are.
