WHERE WE TALK MORE ABOUT ACTION VS VIBRATION

WHERE WE TALK MORE ABOUT ACTION VS VIBRATION

Are you there?

Yes, we are here.

Several months ago we had a conversation about the relationship between action and vibration, and today I would like to continue that discussion.

Of course. Where would you like to start?

Lately, it feels as if I spend a lot of time waiting for things to happen. I don’t think I’m alone in this. I think a lot of people spend more than their fair share of time waiting and hoping and wondering when exactly they are going to reap the rewards for all the hard work they have been doing. After a while, we start to feel as if we must not be doing enough, that we’re inadequate in some way, that there are things that we could be doing that we’re not doing, things that could move us closer to our desired goal, whatever that may be.

You are correct when you point out that many human persons spend a great deal of their time waiting for things to happen. A consequence of feeling disconnected from the source of their own personal power. And so, when things do not happen, or take longer than expected to happen, it is assumed that the reason is a lack of sufficient action. This notion follows directly from a long-standing, well-entrenched belief that it is action that will get you where you want to go, that it is action that will bring you what you desire. But as you know, it is feeling that drives the process of manifestation, the loving, joyful energy of Source that is behind all creation on the physical plane. This is where real experience lives. Not in the action, but in that feeling, in that vibration. Everything else follows from that, including which action to take and when.

Maybe it’s just, like you say, we’re all still entrenched in this old belief that action is the way to manifest what we want in life.

Indeed. As we have said before, to manifest what you desire on the physical plane, you must focus first on the feeling of what it is you wish to create for yourself. You need to use your imagination and seek out that vibration within yourself, and once you find it, focus on it, hold it within your field until it gains sufficient momentum. Then whatever action you need to take will flow easily and naturally from the vibration you hold.

I have to say that all of that seems a lot harder than just jumping in and forging ahead with some physical action.

Only because you are used to taking action to achieve your goals. This is what you have been taught over the course of your lifetime. But there is another way, a more joyful way, one that is more closely aligned with who you really are and with how things really work. Feeling comes first. Action follows. That is how creation functions throughout the Universe. When you put action first, you can often find yourself acting out of obligation or duty or whatever it is that someone tells you that you must do in order to create what it is that you desire. A laundry list of actions that are “motivated” rather than “inspired.”

Yes, I can see that. But where does that leave me in the meantime as I work to re-align my belief system around manifestation? It still leaves me in a state of waiting. Always waiting for something to happen.

That is why it is so important for you to stay as present as you can. Waiting for something to happen implies some future event and as you know, the future is only an idea inside your head. It does not really exist. Only the present moment exists. It is what is. And that is where your point of power lies. In the present.

Of course, but all of that is easier said than done when you’re not getting what you want and frustration begins to set in. At those times, I start to feel like I really, really need to DO something. Make some calls, fill out an application, buy some lumber, whatever it takes to accomplish my goal. Before long, I can hear the voice of the ego telling me that “no one is going to make this happen for you. You need to do it yourself. You just need to get up off your ass and DO IT!” Maybe what I’m waiting for is that joyful feeling, the vibration of excited anticipation, to develop within me. And when it doesn’t, or I can’t connect to it, I get frustrated and move into action mode. “Well, if I can’t feel it, if I can get in touch with what I want on a vibrational level, then I’m just going to plow ahead and MAKE it happen.”

We would never say that you cannot manifest what you desire when you put action first. As we have said before, there are an infinite number of creations that have evolved on the physical plane during the course of human history that have come into existence through concerted effort alone, by humans who said to themselves, “We can do this! We just need to put our noses to the grindstone, work hard and it will happen!” Indeed, much of your current world is built upon such creations. And you can create in this manner, certainly. Action is an essential part of the creative process. But putting action first is not the ideal approach, not when you want to get the absolute most out of your experience, because it does not take into account the experience of joy. You can work hard all you want, and create wonderful things, but if there is no joy in the action, no joy in the creative process itself, then what remains is only the manifested object or experience. You may feel a sense of accomplishment, and perhaps even some pride in what you have created, and that may satisfy you, but it is not the same as creating from a place of joy. Does this make sense to you?

Yes, it does make sense. But sometimes I feel like I am trying to reinvent the wheel with this work that I am doing.

We are not telling you anything that you do not already sense within yourself when we say that you have come to a point in your journey where the old ways are no longer working for you. You are questioning the way things operate in the world, the way YOU operate in the world, and while it may be frustrating at times, it is nonetheless a sign of progress, of growth. It is inevitable that you will encounter moments along your path where you feel frustrated, confused, even lost, unsure of what to do, or what to believe, or how to live your life. It is these moments in your journey that are generally the most fruitful, where the most growth occurs. All you really need to do is maintain your focus, remain centered and present, and trust that where you are is where you have chosen to be, where you have been led by your higher self and by Source. Love what is. And everything else will fall into place.

I understand. I think we will stop there for today.

Of course. We look forward to our next conversation.

Thank you all.
