WHERE WE TALK ABOUT ANGELS, PART ONE
Are you there?
Yes, we are here.
For some reason, I’ve been thinking a lot about angels recently. Do they really exist or are they just a product of the human imagination? If they do exist, what are they composed of exactly and what is their function, if any, and can they really help us if we call on them for aid and assistance? It’s a topic that has always fascinated me and many others that I know. In fact, many of my friends, when I first started channeling my conversations with all of you, asked me if you were my guardian angels. It’s a subject that almost everyone, even those who have little or no belief in the non-physical parts of the Universe, can relate to in some fashion or another.
Most human persons have within their experience a relationship of one kind or another with the concept of angels, even if such a relationship surfaces but once a year during your holiday season. For many, thoughts of angels conjure up images of beatific beings with wings and halos, sometimes bathed in light, floating on clouds in the sky, sometimes waiting attendance upon or making momentous announcements to historically religious figures, or even sometimes as part of the sacred armies of heaven tasked with seeking vengeance upon the enemies of God. These types of angelic images abide in the collective human consciousness due in large part to thousands of years of religious artwork created throughout Earth’s known history, most especially those paintings and sculptures by your Renaissance artists like Raphael, Michelangelo and Botticelli, to name but a few, and there is nothing wrong with such beautiful imagery. Such images are, as you humans would have it, simply a personification of your idea of what an angel is or might be.
So, then, are angels real, or are they just a figment of an artist’s imagination?
Yes, indeed, angels are real.
You sound very sure about that.
And why not? If we were to ask you if your family members were real to you, you would not hesitate for an instant to acknowledge the reality of their existence, for you know them almost as well as you know yourself. From our perspective, that is exactly how we view angels. They are an intimate part of our family, so to speak. Our non-physical family. Of course, we would not wish you to believe anything that you did not want to believe, including the existence of angels. But take a moment and ask yourself, why should it not be so? Why should not angels exist? Yes, it is true that, for most humans, angels cannot be readily felt or experienced through the human senses, as they exist primarily in the realm of the non-physical. At the same time, as we have said, there are paintings and sculptures as well as many, many stories that have been written attesting to the existence of angels. But there is as of yet no great stock of empirical evidence pointing to the existence of angels per se, at least none that would be convincing to the majority of humans. For those seeking solid evidence, our word alone may not be sufficient. But as we often say in instances such as this, where physical evidence of so-called esoteric or paranormal phenomena may be lacking, is it not more interesting to hold to a belief in something that MAY exist, like angels, if that belief fills your life with more love, more comfort, more support? Is that not more interesting than holding to a belief that says angels do not exist? After all, belief is simply a choice. Your choice. And the choices that you engage in as incarnated beings affect the experiences that you create for yourselves. So why not believe in something that could possibly increase your supply of joy? In truth, there is no empirical evidence that we exist either, and yet here we are, speaking with you, exchanging ideas with you, sharing these ideas with a small, but devoted readership, and that is a good thing, something to be appreciated. Some may say that we are nothing more than variations of the voice inside your head, in the same way that some might see angels as a figment of the imaginations of others. To each his own, as you humans like to say, for in the end, belief always comes down to individual choice, and each individual is free to choose that which makes them feel good and feel loved.
So, you’re saying that it’s up to us whether or not we believe in the existence of angels.
Of course. As with every belief that you hold as an incarnated being, it is all a question of personal choice. You are free to believe what you want, whether others agree with you or not. That said, we can assure you, from our own personal, “empirical” experience, that angels do really, positively, absolutely exist.
What are angels then, assuming, as you say, that they do really, positively, absolutely exist?
Angels are beings of radiant, light-infused consciousness arising out of and existing within the energy field of the Universe, vibrating at the frequency of unconditional love. They are, like you, extensions of Source energy, only they, unlike you, exist almost exclusively in non-physical.
And how many angels are there in the Universe?
An infinite number. A number so large it cannot be counted, cannot be fathomed, by any being. But there is no need to keep count. There are as many angels as there are, no more, no less, if that makes any sense to you.
Do all angels have the same purpose, assuming their purpose is to help, support and guide us human beings, or does each angel have their own specific purpose, one that may or may not involve those of us living on the physical plane?
Every being, every consciousness that exists within the Universe, including yourself, has a specific purpose that lies at the core of their individual journey, and angels are no exception. Their primary function is to bring light and love into each and every corner of the Universe, if the Universe could be said to have corners. This is just another way of saying that angels are everywhere. And while an individual angel’s mission may be somewhat different than that of another angel, this light-bearing purpose is one that all angels have in common. Basically, angels are here to help, to provide assistance and guidance on an infinite range of issues, not just for those abiding on the physical plane, but in all areas and all aspects of the Universe. Through their intention, through their energy, through their very existence, they permeate the Universe on every level and bind it together with the sheer force and power of their love. They are the heart and soul of All That Is.
Does each human being have an assigned guardian angel, if assigned is the right word to use, one that is assigned to us and only to us?
This depends upon an incarnated individual’s preferences, what they believe will be most helpful, what they believe will serve them best on their earthly journey. Again, it is up to you. It is your choice. You set the ground rules for your life on the physical plane, although most of those currently incarnated on the physical plane are well aware of the advantages of having a source of guidance residing in the non-physical realm and they make their choice accordingly. This is a choice that you yourself have made, evidenced by our own existence and the nature of our relationship with you. And while we enjoy your preference for calling us your guides, it would also be entirely appropriate for you to think of us as your guardian angels, if that were your choice, for our purpose and intention is to help guide you, comfort you, steady you, and above all, remind you of who you really are and why you have come, and that, in a nutshell, as you humans like to say, is what a guardian angel is all about. The label is not important. What is important is that, guides or angels, however you wish to characterize us, we have been created out of the loving energy of Source to assist you on your journey through the physical plane, in much the same way that you yourself have been created to undertake this journey and do your part in contributing to the growth and expansion of the Universe.
What is the best way for us to contact angels?
Often times, the simplest approach is the best. All that you need do is ask. “I call now upon my team of angels to enter my energetic field and help me to raise my frequency and my vibration. I invite my angelic team to take this heavy, dense, dark emotional low-vibrational energy and help me to release it into the light. I ask all angels to stream the glorious, radiant light of Source into my body, into my mind, into my heart, so that I may more fully experience the unconditional love of All That Is.”
And with this kind of prayer, can we expect to feel something, to hear something, in return?
All prayers put forth by those seeking guidance, assistance and light are answered. As your Bible states, “Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks, receives. He who seeks, finds. To him who knocks, it will be opened.” Once a request for help has been made, your only job is to remain open to receive the guidance that is offered. You need only trust that what you seek, what you need, shall be granted, in a form and by a means that best serves you.
I think we will stop there for today. There is still so much more I want to ask you about angels, but we’re running long, so why don’t we continue our conversation on angels next time.
As you wish. Until next time then.
Thank you all.
