WHERE WE TALK MORE ABOUT THE PROCESS OF MANIFESTATION
Are you there?
Yes, we are here.
I know we have spoken on this topic many times before, but today I would like to talk some more about the process of manifestation.
The process of creation on the earth plane is of the greatest importance to any being who has chosen to incarnate in physical form. Where would you like to begin our discussion?
After all of our work together, I am starting to understand, or at least I think I am starting to understand, the process by which we create experiences in our lives. In previous posts, you have spoken often about the need for us to feel the vibration of whatever it is we wish to create for ourselves. Find the feeling and then hold onto it and allow it to gain vibrational momentum within our energy field. At the same time, think and behave as if we have already received what we are asking for. I am at a point now where I can consciously get in touch with what I want, but I can never seem to get to the feeling, especially when it involves subjects that are trigger old belief systems, like money. There always seems to be something standing between me and the feeling.
If you find yourself searching for the vibrational feeling of that which you desire, the first thing you must do is ask yourself “Where is my attention? What am I focused on? Am I focused on what I want or on what I do not want?” You say that you are in touch with what you want, but often times, your main focus is still on what you do not want, whatever that might be. This happens quite often in the human experience, almost out of habit, to the point where you might not even be consciously aware of where your focus truly lies. The feeling of not having what you want brings up low-vibrational emotions such as fear, anxiety, envy and frustration, emotional states that tend to take center stage in the present life experience of most human persons. These emotions, if you allow them, pull your attention and hold it. That, in turn, affects how and what you manifest. If you continue to place your attention upon that which is currently present in your experience that you no longer desire, then that is what you will continue to create for yourself, no matter how much you would like your experience to change. So first and foremost, it is about focus and where you place your attention.
It’s true that we often assume our attention is on what we want as opposed to what we don’t want, when in fact, it’s not. If you desire more money in your life, for example, it’s hard to keep your focus on abundance when scarcity or lack of abundance is staring you right in the face. For the human mind, it is sometimes difficult to see the distinction, especially if the old forms or experiences are still prominent in your life.
And it is the ego that thrives on this state of ambivalence and confusion. The ego will always prefer that you remain in a scarcity mindstate because it is your feeling of lack that feeds the ego’s very existence. So it will do its very best to convince you that the reason you are not receiving what you desire is that you do not deserve to have what you want, or that you have done something wrong and God is punishing you, or that you do not create experiences in your life because everything happens by accident and at the moment, “lady luck” is not with you. We could go on and on and list hundreds of these ego thought form strategies, but you get the idea.
OK. So, let’s say for the sake of argument that I have gotten in touch with something that I desire and I have placed my attention on that thing, whatever it is, and I have been able to keep my attention there and away from whatever it is I don’t want, and I do my best to get in touch with the vibration of the desire and to feel what it would be like if I have already received the object of my desire, and yet I still don’t feel it. What then?
We would suggest that if what you say is true, that your attention is fully upon what you desire and not on that which you do not desire, and that you hold no entrenched beliefs that might be standing in the way of your receiving what you desire, and that you have reached a point in the process where you can actually believe that you have already created what you desire and that you are eagerly anticipating its arrival on the physical plane, then we assure you that you would feel the vibration of the object of your desire most strongly.
Yes, of course. It really boils down to those entrenched beliefs that may or may not be standing in the way. That’s the crux, isn’t it, for all of us? Those old, entrenched belief systems, comprised of what you call ego thought forms – doubts, anxieties and fears that influence the way we identify ourselves in relation to the world, that influence what we believe is possible for ourselves in this world – all of these belief systems impacting the creative process in one way or another.
You said earlier in our conversation that “…I can never seem to get to the feeling, especially when it involves subjects that trigger old belief systems, like money. There always seems to be something standing between me and the feeling.” What you sense standing in the way between you and the feeling is the contradictory belief system you hold around your desire. Your belief system must be in alignment with your desire for manifestation to occur. You must believe it can happen, expect it to happen. Any doubt, and the manifestation process will have difficulty completing itself. Do you see?
Yes, I see. So where does that leave us? It’s easy enough to talk about belief systems in the abstract, but if we want to create new things, experiences, relationships for ourselves, how do we tackle these old belief systems and let them go? Sometimes we’re not even aware of these old beliefs. I mean, we may not realize that we don’t feel deserving or that things don’t happen by accident. That is why this journey can feel so frustrating.
That is the nature of the work, is it not?
You always say that.
Because it is true. These old beliefs systems that humans cling to are created and maintained by your own ego-based fears. If you are not already aware of old, entrenched beliefs, it is your job to allow them to rise to the surface of your consciousness so that they can be released and clear a path, so to speak, for the manifestation of what you desire. That is why the act of creation is such an important part of the human experience. It is the desire to create something new that brings light to the darkness, love to the fear. As we have said before, when you focus upon what you desire, that which is vibrationally incompatible with the desire will rise to the surface. Dealing with this type of dynamic is a challenging undertaking, we admit, but again, it is a large part of the work you came here to do. To recognize your own fears when they arise and then release them. Detach from them. Send them into the loving light of Source. Granted, it is quite easy to become overwhelmed by the thought of these sometimes-hidden emotional energies blocking your attempts at manifestation. But we can assure you that you are up to the task. It takes time, patience, commitment, and an unwavering trust in the process of creation, a process that lies at the very heart of your existence.
I think we will stop there for today. I’m sure that we will revisit this topic many more times in the course of our conversations.
We look forward to it.
Thank you all.
