Well, lately we’ve been talking a lot about self-appreciation and self-worth, and I thought it might be useful if you were to give us some positive, affirmative thoughts that we could refer to on a regular basis to help lift our vibrations.

That is our intention.
I have just a few suggestions before we close. In the past, when I first started using positive affirmations to calm myself or lift my spirits, I tended to rush through them and repeat them parrot-like. I discovered that it’s best to take your time with each affirmation and allow it to sink in. The purpose of positive affirmations is to raise your vibration and that can only be done if you believe what you are saying. The best way to achieve that goal is to allow yourself the time to FEEL the vibration of the affirmation in your body. And be patient when it comes to results. You may get off to a great start and then a few days later decide you’re done. “I thought they were working, but I was wrong, so what’s the point?” That kind of thinking is a clear indication that your ego is resisting, working hard to block any changes that you’re trying to make. So, think in terms of sustaining your vibration once it begins to rise and that will help you to maintain your practice. It may also be helpful to write your affirmations in a journal. Writing helps to slow your mind down while you are absorbing the energy behind each affirmation. And do not hesitate to use your imagination to come up with affirmations that fit your current circumstances. It’s always a good idea to address your own particular needs head on. I have also found it very effective to record the affirmations and then play them back to myself. You can record them on your phone and then listen to them whenever and wherever you like. Above all, keep your intention clear and strong. Nothing can hold you to your purpose more reliably than a clear and strong intention about what you are doing and why you are doing it.

We would add one more thing, which we have said previously, and that is to try to think of a positive affirmation as a statement of something that is already true.
