WHERE WE TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MANIFESTATION

WHERE WE TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MANIFESTATION

Are you there?

Yes, we are here.

Before we start, I would like to let our readers know that they can now subscribe to our blog by using the form on the right. I believe the system will send a link for any new post to their email address. Readers will also find icon buttons at the bottom of the page allowing them to share new posts with others. I’m new at this, so I hope it all works. We’ll know soon enough.

A wonderful idea! These new features will certainly help our readers to remember to access all of our new postings and to share our website with other potential readers.

That’s the plan. So, today I want to talk about manifestation. About creating things or experiences in our lives that we desire.

A worthwhile topic certainly. Where would you like to start?

Well, I thought we would start with something that I have been trying to manifest for a very long time. I thought if we talked about it, it might provide some insight for others who have a long-standing desire for something that, for one reason or another, they have never managed to manifest.

You are speaking about your completed, but unpublished novel, are you not?

Yes, I am.

We are very familiar with this work. After all, we helped you write it.

Oh, really.

Who do you think added all of those humorous bits?

You’re saying that was you?

Of course. Who else? Just because you could not interact with us twenty years ago the way you do now does not mean we were just sitting around, twiddling our non-physical thumbs, while you wrote your book.

I see. I suppose you’ll be wanting author credit now.

Not at all. We prefer to remain anonymous.

That’s very generous of you. Still, it’s fun to think that you were there with me the entire time, helping me and guiding me, especially when I got stuck.

It was great fun for us as well. Which is why we are so happy that you are writing again with us, although in a somewhat different format.

There isn’t really a word for this type of collaboration. At least none that I have ever heard of. A co-created transcription of real conversations with non-physical beings.

How about metacons?

You mean like “metaphysical conversations?” Well, when I Google the word metacons, I get “MetaCon,” which is an annual sci fi and comic book convention based in Minneapolis. So that term is taken.

What about spiricons?

As in “spiritual conversations?” That word is also taken. A spiricon, for those who don’t know, is a roller screw with grooves on the spindle. What a spindle is or why there are grooves on it I couldn’t say, but there you are. In any case, I think we have veered way off topic.

Which is…?

My novel. And why I have not managed to get it published for the last twenty years, even though it is something that I have thought about a great deal and would dearly love to see happen.

Let us start with this question: Did you ever imagine that your novel should be published, or could be published, or would be published, or even had been published?

Well, to be fair, that’s really four questions.

But you see what we’re getting at, do you not?

I think I do. You’re asking me if I ever believed that my novel, even after all the hard work I put into it, was worthy of being published.

It’s not a question of worthiness, except in your own mind. Do you see? It is our sense that although you spent a great deal of time and energy on your book, thoroughly enjoyed writing it, thought it was good, had high hopes that one day it might actually be published and that many people would read it and enjoy it, in your heart you never really believed it would happen, did you?

To be honest, no. It’s hard to admit that, because I like to think that I would champion my own work, but deep down, I guess I did not really believe it was possible.

And that is why your novel did not manifest as a published work. You did not believe it was possible. You held other resistant thoughts that stood in the way as well, but it always starts with desire and belief. These two elements – desire and belief – are the cornerstones of any physical manifestation. You had the desire, but lacked the belief. If your belief is strong enough and you know it can happen, not only CAN it happen, it WILL happen.

I know what you are saying. And I did actually finish the novel, which is a something I’m very proud of. But it does seem as if creating something smaller, something more ordinary, takes less effort because it is easier to believe that it can happen. Like going to the coffee shop to buy coffee. You know that your store always has plenty of coffee, so the possibility of there being no coffee rarely enters your mind. Even if your coffee shop has run out of coffee, there is a coffee shop on pretty much every corner in America, so you know there will always be some available. With my novel, however, there is not a publishing house or a literary agent on every corner just waiting to help me publish my book. The situation is more complicated and consequently, it’s harder to muster the necessary faith.

So why do you think some books are published and others are not?

Because they’re better written, maybe? Or the writer has the inside track, or already has a literary agent, or was published before, or has won a writing contest.

While those pre-conditions may have helped, they alone would not guarantee success.

Maybe it’s just luck.

One thing we can assure you of is that physical manifestation has absolutely nothing to do with “luck.” In fact, there is really no such thing. All luck is self-created. All of it. Each human person is the creator of their own experiences. 100% of their experiences. Nothing happens by luck or by accident or because you are or aren’t a good or a bad person. You are the creator of your life experience. You are in charge. Granted, most of what is created on the physical plane is created unconsciously, but it is created, nonetheless, by human persons.

That idea is difficult to accept.

Yes, it is. And that is why most human persons prefer to believe that someone or something else, an outside force, is actually creating all of the experiences they are having, but that is not the case. You are the creator.

OK. Well, you have certainly given me a lot to think about. Perhaps we should stop for now and continue this discussion another time.

As you wish. One last thought before we go. As we have said before, our work here with you is first and foremost about helping you and our readers to remember who they really are. Your true self already knows how to create. Your true self already knows how to manifest anything and everything that your heart desires. It is just a question of remembering who you are and that all things are possible. We will leave it there for now.

Thank you all.
